Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for school-aged children
- check_circleDevelop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy goals
- check_circleProvide individual and small-group speech-language therapy in school settings
- check_circleCollaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- check_circleDocument sessions, progress notes, and evaluation reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- check_circleParticipate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and placement decisions
- check_circleProvide consultation and strategies to teachers and staff for classroom carryover
- check_circleScreen students and assist with Response to Intervention (RTI) and pre-referral processes
Requirements
- verifiedCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- verifiedState Speech-Language Pathology License
- verifiedClinical Fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology (CFY)
- verifiedBackground check and clearance to work in schools
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
