This position serves as a vital link within Dallas ISD, dedicated to supporting students with special needs through the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process. The role is designed to ensure that every student receives a tailored Individual Education Plan (IEP) that addresses their unique learning styles and developmental needs.
In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with students, parents, and classroom staff to develop and implement comprehensive educational programs. Your day-to-day work involves planning instructional strategies, modifying regular curricula, and consulting with teachers on behavior management. You will also play a key role in the community by representing the district at open houses and PTA meetings, helping to interpret educational programs and foster a supportive environment for all stakeholders.
This is a campus-based position requiring regular and punctual attendance at the worksite. Travel throughout the district is an integral part of the job. The work environment typically features a moderate noise level. Please note that remote work or alternate work arrangements are not available for this role, as on-site presence is essential to perform all duties effectively.
