In this vital role as a Specialty or Senior Specialty Representative for Cardiovascular in Manhattan South, you will be the connection to our customers by providing clinical knowledge of our products to medical professionals and helping them navigate the complex payer environment. You will act as the primary customer contact, responsible for implementing marketing strategy and promoting Amgen products as led by the District Manager.
You will deliver on our commitment to serve patients by providing current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicating clinical benefits to medical professionals. As a sales leader, you will achieve territory sales by delivering branded sales messages, conducting planned programs, and scheduling and following up with medical educational programs. You will develop relationships to service and manage accounts, customizing discussions based on customer needs, ensuring product access, and resolving reimbursement issues. Additionally, you will partner with colleagues to share best practices, sustain passion for our products throughout the sales cycle, and uphold Amgen Values.

Three or more years of sales experience within pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry. Product or hospital sales experience in the areas of oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases. Local market knowledge. Established relationships in the territory. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration. Adaptability with Core Competencies: Planning and Organizing; Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Communicating with Impact; Driving for Results; and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.
