About the Role

As a Specialty Equipment (Food Technician), you will join a local, and regional team dedicated to the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our stores. Operating under the supervision of the local General Maintenance Manager, you will execute routine maintenance tasks to uphold the standards of our facilities, equipment, and fixtures. This role is critical in a fast-paced environment where your expertise and dedication will make a real impact on operational efficiency and food safety.

You will utilize multiple craft skills—including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment maintenance—to diagnose and repair commercial food equipment such as combi ovens, deli slicers, fryers, and ice makers. Your day will involve conducting inspections, cleaning, and repairing facilities while adhering to established maintenance schedules. You will also play a key role in training Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning to reduce misuse and damage, ensuring that our customers have access to quality food and goods at everyday low prices.
