About the Role

The Charge Entry Specialist plays a vital role in the effective operation of surgical services, bridging the gap between clinical care and financial accuracy. You will prepare, enter, review, and correct all patient charges while collaborating closely with business-related services such as finance, purchasing, and receiving.

In this position, you will interface with vendor representatives, surgeons, physician offices, and operating room staff to ensure the effective coordination and availability of all equipment, items, and instruments for surgical procedures. Your work ensures accurate invoice information and pricing while supporting the broader goals of the Perioperative Business Office. You will serve as a subject matter expert for the Champion Tissue Tracking system and participate in key committees like the Value Analysis Team to support product selection and financial analysis.

Our Culture & Standards

MarinHealth seeks candidates ready to model our C.A.R.E.S. standards—Communication, Accountability, Respect, Excellence, and Safety—which foster a healing, trust-based environment for patients and colleagues. We are committed to protecting our community; therefore, employees must meet specific health and immunization requirements, including measles, mumps, varicella, and annual influenza immunizations.

Equal Opportunity

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or disability status, and any other classifications protected by federal, state, and local laws.

Accommodation

Qualified applicants with disabilities may request reasonable accommodation during the application process by contacting Human Resources at 415-925-7040 or TalentAcquisition@mymarinhealth.org.
