About the Role
All our teachers share the undying belief that maximizing student achievement is at the core of our work. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be a thoughtful educator relentlessly seeking to improve the content and overall quality of education provided. You will be committed to the school's mission and driven to lead all scholars to academic gains.
Under the supervision of the Director of Scholar Services, you will collaborate with the school's leadership team and other committees to support all scholars in achieving high standards. You will serve on the school-based Scholar Services Team, managing incoming teacher referrals and helping determine scholars who need an evaluation for special education services. You will also assist in providing accommodations for English Language Learners and scholars with IEPs or 504s.
