About the Role
Fremont County School District Number 25 is seeking a dedicated Elementary Teacher for Special Education to join the team at Aspen Elementary School in Riverton, Wyoming. In this role, you will provide quality instructional services tailored to children with disabilities, ensuring that every student's Individual Educational Program (IEP) is met with precision and care.
You will serve as a vital link between the student, their family, and the broader school community. Your day will involve designing appropriate goals and timelines for special education services, planning study programs that meet individual needs within the district curriculum, and collaborating with regular classroom teachers and related service providers to develop effective strategies. Beyond the classroom, you will monitor student progress, document achievements, and communicate regularly with parents and school-based teams to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Hiring Process & Application
Employment with Fremont County School District Number 25 is contingent upon the successful completion of local, state, and federal criminal background clearances. Teachers assigned to Extended Learning Resource Rooms, ACE Rooms, and IDEAL Rooms are also required to maintain current CPR/First Aid certification, which is provided by the Special Services Department.
