Elementary Education Teacher

Lincoln County School District #2 is seeking a dedicated Elementary Education Teacher to join our team. This position is open until filled and offers the opportunity to shape the foundational learning experiences of students in grades K-6.

As an Elementary Education Teacher, you will serve as a guide and instructor for early childhood and primary grade pupils. Your role involves creating a comprehensive education program that addresses academic, social, behavioral, and related skill areas. You will work to help students, parents, and the community adjust to a structured educational environment, fostering a space where diverse learners can thrive.

The day-to-day responsibilities include teaching core subjects such as reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, health, physical education, and music. You will utilize adopted course guidelines to plan engaging lesson plans and employ a variety of teaching methodologies, including lectures, demonstrations, and discussions. A key part of your role is to design instructional programs that meet the individual needs of students from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, ensuring a motivating and stimulating learning environment for all.

In addition to classroom instruction, you will collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to communicate student progress and problem-solve effectively. You will also maintain open lines of communication with parents regarding pupil growth and manage the classroom environment to ensure safety and comfort.
