About the Role
Join Mesquite ISD as an Elementary Teacher at Moss Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time, exempt position, you will serve as a vital link in our educational community, dedicated to maximizing student achievement through effective instructional programs. Your mission is to leverage research findings, technology, and community resources to create a dynamic learning environment that addresses the diverse needs of every student.
You will guide the learning process toward the achievement of established district curriculum goals, fostering a classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of your students. This role requires a collaborative spirit, as you will work closely with special education teachers to modify curricula for students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supervise teacher aides, volunteers, and student teachers.
Beyond the classroom, you will be an active participant in the school community, attending campus and district meetings to promote communication and mutual decision-making. You will also engage in traditional school-sponsored activities, such as student orientations and open houses, to strengthen the bond between the school, families, and the community. Your commitment to professional growth and adherence to district policies will ensure a safe, supportive, and enriching educational experience for all.
