As a Regular Education Teacher, you will be responsible for the effective teaching and learning of assigned subjects, adhering to district-approved curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices. This position requires a strong focus on student safety, welfare, and readiness to learn, including providing necessary guidance and discipline. You will work with a high level of independence and professional discretion, collaborating within a professional learning community to address student needs and implement best practices.
This role is specifically for the 2026-27 school year and requires an Elementary Education endorsement. Candidates must possess Spanish-speaking skills to effectively serve our student body. You will plan lessons using research-based strategies, integrate technology into learning, and maintain a positive, safe classroom environment. Additionally, you will actively participate in faculty meetings, support the school's vision, and remain vigilant regarding student safety and well-being.
All new employees must complete a satisfactory fingerprint and sexual misconduct background check pursuant to Public Law 92544. Employment is considered temporary until the receipt of satisfactory check results; proof that the fingerprinting process has begun must be supplied to Human Resources prior to the first day of employment.
