HDR has an excellent career opportunity for a Wastewater Market Sector Leader passionate about protecting public health and understanding the "One Water" concept. This role exists to set the vision and strategy for the Southern California program, expanding research, planning, design, and engineering services for wastewater agencies, related clients, and research organizations.
In this collaborative position, you will work with local and national leadership to advance local capabilities and support strategic wastewater projects across the company. You will interface with regional and national technology and market sector leaders, engaging in industry associations and forums to take leadership roles, including committee participation and conference presentations. You will also encourage your team to actively contribute to professional organizations and publications.
As a client manager for select agencies, you will serve as a pursuit champion, identifying and developing new project opportunities. You may act as Principal in charge, Project Manager, Technical Lead, and/or Quality Manager on projects ranging from studies and master planning to design and facility optimization. Additionally, you will support HDR's One Water Institute by leading or participating in applied research projects, such as those with the Water Research Foundation.
