Located at Avera Maternal Fetal Medicine in Sioux Falls, this position is integral to our patient care team. You will perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring cooperation and optimum test results through clear communication. Your day involves positioning patients, selecting appropriate transducers, and conducting scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment to focus on specified body areas. You will also assist physicians with specialized procedures such as amniocentesis, enter data into the report system, and participate in quality assessment and improvement plans. Additionally, you will help train staff and students and manage the inventory of supplies to ensure a productive and efficient environment.
