About the Role
Located at Avera Maternal Fetal Medicine in Sioux Falls, this position is integral to our commitment to providing high-quality care. You will perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures for patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring cooperation and optimum test results through clear communication. Your day will involve positioning patients, selecting appropriate transducers, and conducting scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment to focus on specified body areas. You will also assist physicians in specialized procedures such as amniocentesis, enter data into the report system, and participate in quality assessment and improvement plans.
Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in the team environment by assisting with staff and student on-the-job training and orientation. You will also manage inventory, monitoring supplies and ordering items as needed to ensure a productive and efficient workflow. This role requires working effectively with other team members while complying with safety principles and regulations associated with CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA.

Requirements
- verifiedAssociate's Degree in Sonography or Associates or certificate of completion from an accredited School of Radiology
- verifiedRDMS (OB/GYN) - American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) within 1 Year
- verified1-3 years of additional ultrasound experience/training in OB/GYN
