This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 field sales role focused on Business Development for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You will serve as a Business Consultant and B2B Sales Representative for Business Banking, targeting non-enterprise clients with short sales cycles that typically yield multiple deals per month.
In this position, you will sell Clover, an industry-leading cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) platform used by over 700,000 merchants. The role involves managing a territory with dozens of branches from established corporate partner banks. You will build relationships with business bankers to generate referrals while self-sourcing new opportunities to supplement pipelines. Your day-to-day will include conducting on-site product demos and presentations to show how the platform streamlines operations and boosts revenue, followed by closing sales deals in person.
As a quota-carrying field sales representative, you will own the full sales cycle: prospecting, self-sourcing leads, and generating referrals through existing clients and bank partnerships. You will be fully accountable for territory performance and KPI attainment, including turning around underperforming accounts. Success in this role means building lasting client and partner relationships, identifying challenges early, and consistently delivering proactive solutions that drive growth and retention.
