This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire field sales position focused on Business Development and Business Banking for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The role targets non-enterprise clients with short sales cycles, offering the potential for multiple deals per month.
As a Business Consultant and B2B Sales Representative, you will sell Clover, an industry-leading cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) platform. Used by over 700,000 merchants and processing more than $330 billion in card transactions, Clover combines hardware and software to handle payments alongside business management features like inventory, reporting, and customer loyalty.
You will manage a territory comprising dozens of branches from established corporate partner banks. Your day-to-day involves building relationships with business bankers to generate referrals while self-sourcing new opportunities to supplement existing pipelines. The role requires conducting on-site product demos and presentations at client businesses to demonstrate how the platform can streamline operations and boost revenue, ultimately closing sales deals in person.
This is a quota-carrying position where you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals. Success requires a self-starter mindset, strong outside sales execution, and the ability to turn around underperforming accounts. You will be accountable for territory performance, KPI attainment, and building lasting client and partner relationships by identifying challenges early and delivering proactive solutions.
This is a W2 role offering a base salary, full benefits, and an uncapped commission structure. The compensation package includes a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months and residuals.
