This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 field sales position targeting small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You will serve as a Business Development Consultant, selling Clover—an industry-leading cloud-based point-of-sale platform used by over 700,000 merchants—to SMBs within your assigned territory.
The role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with short sales cycles. You will manage a territory comprising dozens of branches from established corporate partner banks, building relationships with business bankers to generate referrals while simultaneously self-sourcing new opportunities. Your day-to-day involves conducting on-site product demos and presentations to show how the platform streamlines operations and boosts revenue, followed by closing sales deals in person.
As a quota-carrying field sales representative, you will own the full sales cycle: prospecting, generating referrals through existing clients and bank partnerships, and closing deals. Success in this role means building lasting client and partner relationships, identifying challenges early, and consistently delivering proactive solutions that drive growth and retention. You will have full accountability for territory performance and KPI attainment, including turning around underperforming accounts.
This is a direct-hire role with a base salary, full benefits, and an uncapped commission structure. This includes a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months and residuals.
