This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 field sales role focused on Business Development for a client targeting small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). You will sell Clover, an industry-leading cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) platform used by over 700,000 merchants and processing over $330 billion in card transactions. The platform combines hardware and software to handle payments alongside business management features like inventory, reporting, and customer loyalty.
As a self-starter in this quota-carrying position, you will manage a territory with dozens of branches from multiple established corporate partner banks. Your day-to-day involves building relationships with business bankers to generate referrals, self-sourcing new opportunities to supplement pipelines, and conducting on-site product demos to show how the platform can streamline operations and boost revenue. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and hunting for new business to closing deals in person—with full accountability for territory performance and quota attainment.
The role offers a base salary, full benefits, uncapped commission (including a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months), and residuals. It is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment with short sales cycles that typically yield multiple deals per month.
