This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire field sales position focused on Business Development for a leading cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) platform. The role targets small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) within an assigned territory, specifically excluding enterprise clients. The platform, used by over 700,000 merchants and processing more than $330 billion in transactions, combines hardware and software to manage payments, inventory, reporting, and customer loyalty.
As a Business Consultant or B2B Sales Representative, you will manage a territory comprising dozens of branches from established corporate partner banks. Your mission involves building strong relationships with business bankers to generate referrals while simultaneously self-sourcing new opportunities to supplement existing pipelines. This is a quota-carrying role where you will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to conducting on-site product demos and closing deals in person. Success requires a self-starter mindset capable of driving new business, turning around underperforming accounts, and consistently delivering proactive solutions that foster long-term client and partner growth.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment with short sales cycles that yield multiple deals per month. Previous experience as a Business Banker, Commercial Relationship Banker, or Commercial Relationship Manager serving SMB clients is highly valued.
This is a W2 role offering a base salary, full benefits, and an uncapped commission structure. The compensation package includes a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months, along with residuals.
