The SkillBridge initiative, hosted at skillbridge.osd.mil, offers a unique 24-week (6-month) opportunity for transitioning service members to gain real-world experience in the civilian workforce. This specific track places you within Maximus's recruitment marketing team, where you will serve as a Digital Advertising Recruitment Associate Specialist Trainee.
The program is designed to bridge the gap between military service and corporate career paths by providing hands-on training in talent acquisition marketing, employer branding, and digital campaign execution. You will work alongside experienced professionals to plan, execute, and optimize digital recruitment campaigns that attract high-quality applicants to Maximus.
As a trainee, you will be an active participant in the recruitment lifecycle. Your journey begins with a two-week orientation to understand Maximus's culture, recruitment marketing fundamentals, and core concepts. Following this foundation, you will spend the bulk of the program (Weeks 3–22) supporting the team in:
