About the Program
The SkillBridge initiative, hosted at skillbridge.osd.mil, offers a unique 24-week (6-month) opportunity for transitioning service members to gain real-world experience in the civilian workforce. This specific track places you within Maximus's recruitment marketing team, where you will serve as a Digital Advertising Recruitment Associate Specialist Trainee.
About the Role
In this role, you will act as a vital support to the team in planning, executing, and optimizing digital recruitment campaigns. You will not just observe but actively contribute to employer branding initiatives, recruitment event promotion, and the creation of marketing assets. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating on graphics, managing social media, auditing landing pages, crafting copy, and handling digital ad management and reporting.
The program is designed to immerse you in the full lifecycle of talent acquisition marketing. From Week 1, you will undergo orientation to understand Maximus and core recruitment concepts. Weeks 3 through 22 will be dedicated to hands-on execution, including campaign planning, content development, and gaining proficiency with digital advertising platforms. You will support email nurture campaigns, promote hiring events, and learn to track performance metrics through analytics and A/B testing. The final weeks are dedicated to a wrap-up, documentation, and program evaluation.
