This specific role is a Digital Advertising Recruitment Associate Specialist Trainee position designed to immerse participants in the strategic world of talent acquisition marketing within the Department of Defense ecosystem.
About the Role
As a trainee, you will serve as a vital support member to the Maximus recruitment marketing team. Your mission is to assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital recruitment campaigns that attract high-quality applicants. This is not merely an observational role; you will actively engage in employer branding initiatives, manage social media channels, create graphics, audit landing pages, and handle digital ad management.
Your day-to-day will involve crafting integrated marketing strategies, developing audience segments, and building email nurture campaigns. You will also coordinate the promotion of recruiting events, serving as a brand ambassador at virtual and on-site career fairs. The role emphasizes continuous learning, requiring you to research industry trends, analyze performance metrics, and suggest improvements to enhance the candidate experience.
Program Journey
The 24-week program is structured to take you from foundational knowledge to independent execution:
- Weeks 1-2 (Orientation & Fundamentals): You will begin by understanding Maximus's core values, recruitment marketing basics, and essential concepts.
- Weeks 3-22 (Execution & Growth): This core phase covers campaign planning, content collaboration, hands-on work with digital advertising platforms, and email nurture execution. You will support recruitment event promotions, learn tracking and reporting, and assist in A/B testing and optimization. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders, support career website updates, explore new tools, and ensure compliance with brand standards while conducting industry research.
- Weeks 23-24 (Wrap-Up & Transition): The program concludes with a final review, documentation of your work, and a comprehensive program evaluation to prepare you for your next career step.
