The SkillBridge initiative connects transitioning service members with private sector employers to gain valuable work experience before separation. This 24-week (6-month) program offers a structured pathway for veterans to transition into civilian careers while contributing to organizational goals.
As a Digital Advertising Recruitment Associate Specialist, you will serve as a trainee within the Maximus recruitment marketing team. Your primary mission is to assist in planning, executing, and optimizing digital recruitment campaigns that attract high-quality talent. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in the full lifecycle of recruitment marketing, from strategy and content creation to analytics and optimization.
You will act as a brand ambassador at various virtual and on-site career fairs, helping to promote hiring events and engage with potential candidates. The position offers a comprehensive day-in-the-life experience, including collaboration with cross-functional partners, managing social media channels, auditing landing pages, and crafting compelling copy. By the end of the program, you will have gained practical expertise in digital advertising platforms, email nurturing strategies, and performance measurement.
The program is divided into two main phases:
Orientation & Fundamentals (Weeks 1-2): Gain a deep understanding of Maximus, recruitment marketing basics, and core industry concepts.
Campaign Planning & Execution (Weeks 3-22): Engage in active project work, including developing marketing content, managing digital ad platforms, supporting recruitment event promotions, and conducting A/B testing. You will also focus on compliance, brand consistency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Wrap-Up & Transition (Weeks 23-24): Conclude the program with a final review, documentation of your work, and a formal program evaluation.
