The Shipping Clerk serves as a vital operational link within DDC, ensuring the accurate preparation of outgoing shipments and the receipt of incoming materials. This role supports daily operations by handling a diverse range of items, including palletized goods, laboratory equipment, collection kit materials, office supplies, biological samples, and confidential results. You will be responsible for maintaining organized inventory systems to ensure efficient retrieval of materials and timely order fulfillment.
In this position, you will review incoming and outgoing shipment schedules, document inventory discrepancies or damage, and respond to on-demand shipping questions. The role requires frequent communication with internal teams and external partners to confirm shipment status and resolve issues. You will work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a collaborative team contributor, ensuring all activities adhere to compliance requirements, company policies, and strict confidentiality standards.
