About the Role
This entry-level position is responsible for processing all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, in a timely and efficient manner. You will ensure accuracy and provide customers with the highest quality product and service. As a member of this driven and highly collaborative team, you will be passionate about creating transformative change in healthcare.
In this role, you will process medical record requests by taking calls from patients, insurance companies, and attorneys to provide status updates. You will document information in multiple platforms, manage patient health records, and ensure that all releases of information comply with requests, authorizations, company policy, and HIPAA regulations. You will safeguard the patient's right to privacy at all times, ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to medical information.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleAssist with administrative duties such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry

Requirements

Nice to Have
Experience in a healthcare environment. Previous production/metric-based work experience. In-person customer service experience. Ability to build relationships with on-site clients and customers. Comfortable bringing new ideas, process improvement suggestions, and feedback to internal stakeholders.
