About the Role
The Shift Supervisor is the anchor of the floor, the person guests and team members turn to when they need a quick answer, a calm hand, or someone to simply get things sorted. As a floor leader, you own operational execution, guest experience, compliance oversight, and real-time problem-solving across every shift. When store leadership is out, you step in as the Manager on Duty.
This role works closely with the Retail Manager and Assistant Manager to hit store goals, keep operations consistent, and contribute to creating a welcoming environment that people actually enjoy visiting. You will manage the sales floor, support Retail Associates, ensure cash handling and inventory remain tight, and maintain a safe, compliant, and welcoming atmosphere all at once. The position also involves specific operational duties such as managing alarm access, supporting operational investigations, inventory reconciliation, security procedures, and cannabis deliveries as needed.
Work Environment
This position operates in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment characterized by frequent interaction with guests, team members, cannabis products, and strict adherence to security protocols. Success in this role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move up to 50 lbs, and navigate the facility safely while bending, reaching, and crouching. The environment demands high energy and flexibility, with scheduling available to meet business needs.
