The Shift Leader is an entry-level supervisory position designed to support the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily restaurant operations. As a Shift Leader, you will act with integrity and honesty to promote the company's mission. Your day involves assisting the General Manager in meeting store goals by driving sales and controlling labor and food costs. You will ensure the restaurant environment remains safe for both team members and guests, fostering a culture built on respect, recognition, and reward.
You will be expected to maintain a calm demeanor during high-volume periods or unusual events, setting a positive example for the shift team. A key part of your role is developing positive relationships by understanding and addressing the individual needs and motivations of your team. You will also be required to assist all other positions as necessary, delivering excellent customer service with a "guest first" attitude.
Additionally, you will resolve low-level guest issues efficiently, follow cash management policies, and identify maintenance problems to communicate to the Facilities Department. Using company tools, you will coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure a high-performing restaurant team.
