As a Key Holder, you serve as a vital extension of store management, stepping in to open and close the store, manage cash operations, and ensure the floor and stockroom are prepared for the business day. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will act as a liaison between management and the team, communicating tasks and reporting issues when leadership is not present.
Your day begins with securing the store, handling system startups, and managing deliveries by opening the back door for vendors. Throughout the shift, you will engage with customers and patients, offering assistance and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction. You will model best practices for the team, from proactive service habits to proper product handling, such as separating raw foods and managing stock rotation.
You will be accountable for accurate sales registration, inventory counts, and pricing compliance, while assisting with order reviews, reverse logistics, and visual merchandising. Additionally, you will support the team in maintaining a clean, orderly store environment and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. When needed, you will also assist at the pharmacy window and perform bag checks to maintain store security.
Candidates with one year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience are encouraged to apply. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required (except in Puerto Rico). Those with knowledge of store inventory control and valid PTCB certification or pharmacy licenses (as required by state) are preferred.
