As a Key Holder at Walgreens, you serve as a vital link between management and the team, stepping in to open and close the store in the absence of store leadership. Your day involves ensuring the floor and stockroom are ready for business, managing cash handling systems, and coordinating vendor deliveries. You are responsible for holding store keys and acting as a liaison to communicate tasks to team members when management is not present.
You will model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience by engaging with customers and patients, offering assistance, and resolving issues. This role requires sharing customer service best practices with the team, emphasizing interpersonal habits like greeting, eye contact, and courtesy. You will proactively identify needs and service customers until they are satisfied, ensuring a positive interaction for everyone who walks through our doors.
Your responsibilities extend to maintaining accurate inventory counts, managing basic department pricing, and ensuring proper signage is displayed. You will assist with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and the development of promotional displays. Safety and compliance are paramount; you will ensure the separation of food items, adhere to stock rotation methods, and maintain compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products like alcohol and tobacco. Additionally, you will assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the store clean and orderly.
