About the Role

As a Key Holder at Walgreens, you serve as a vital extension of store management, ensuring the business operates smoothly in their absence. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and are passionate about delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will act as a liaison between management and the team, stepping up to lead operations, manage cash handling, and maintain store standards when the store is open.

Your day involves more than just opening and closing the store; it is about setting the tone for the team and the customers. You will be responsible for starting up all required systems, managing cash drops, and ensuring both the sales floor and stockroom are ready for the business day. From greeting customers and resolving issues to coaching team members on service best practices, you play a central role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will also support the manager in developing displays, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and local regulations.

Hiring Process

To apply, please ensure you meet the core qualifications, including one year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required (except in Puerto Rico). If you have knowledge of store inventory control, it is preferred. For pharmacy-related duties, obtaining and maintaining valid PTCB certification or a pharmacy license as required by your state is necessary.
