Shift Lead

About the Role

As a Key Holder, you serve as a vital extension of store management, stepping in to open and close the store, manage cash operations, and ensure the floor and stockroom are ready for business. This role is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will act as a liaison between management and the team, communicating tasks and reporting issues when leadership is absent.

Day in the Life

Your day begins with opening the store, handling system startups, and preparing the space for the day's operations. You will engage with customers and patients, offering assistance, resolving issues, and modeling best practices in interpersonal habits like greeting and eye contact. Beyond customer interaction, you will manage critical operational tasks, including processing returns, handling cash drops, and maintaining accurate inventory counts. You will also assist with vendor deliveries, review order exceptions, and ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. Throughout the shift, you will coach team members, maintain store cleanliness, and ensure all company policies and procedures are followed.

Hiring Process

Candidates must have one year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience and be fluent in English. Those with knowledge of store inventory control are preferred. For pharmacy-related duties, obtaining and maintaining valid PTCB certification or a pharmacy license as required by the state is mandatory.
