Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOpen and close the store in the absence of management, including system start-ups and cash handling
- check_circleProcess product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops to the safe
- check_circleSeparate food items and manage stock rotation using the first in, first out method
- check_circleEnsure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products like alcohol and tobacco
- check_circleRegister all sales transactions and maintain records of scanning errors and price verifications
- check_circleMaintain accurate inventory counts across basic departments, stockroom, and overstock locations
- check_circleServe as a liaison between management and team members to communicate tasks and report issues
- check_circleEngage customers by greeting them and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience
- check_circleEnsure store cleanliness and request repairs for exterior and interior maintenance as needed
- check_circleCoach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes and delivery procedures
- check_circleAssist managers in reviewing order exceptions and managing reverse logistics activities
- check_circleAssist with bookkeeping activities including cash reports, counts, ledgers, and bill payments
Requirements
