This role serves as a vital support hub within the service center, bridging the gap between customer needs and operational execution. The position is dedicated to managing the administrative and customer service aspects of freight movement, ensuring documentation is accurate and client inquiries are resolved efficiently.
You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling everything from processing freight documentation to resolving complex shipping issues. Your day will involve verifying reports, entering shipment data, and coordinating with drivers and sales teams to ensure seamless operations. Whether you are tracing a shipment, generating freight bills, or reconciling cash deposits, your work ensures that the service center runs smoothly and that customers receive the support they need.
The role is performed in a fast-paced office and dock environment where deadlines are critical. Hours are scheduled from 1700 to 2130, though flexibility may be required to meet operational needs. Success in this position requires the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
