About the Role
As a Waitstaff/Server, your day-to-day work centers on providing quality customer service to residents and guests in a warm, gracious manner. You will be the face of our dining experience, routinely setting up, clearing, and resetting the dining room to ensure a welcoming environment. Your role involves taking menu orders, serving meals, and explaining menu items, including ingredients and cooking methods, to our community members. You will also handle daily specials, make recommendations, and ensure all food is served in accordance with sanitary standards.
Beyond service, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our community by adhering to HIPAA privacy rules, ensuring resident-identifiable health information is used only for essential job functions. You will attend pre-shift meetings to stay informed on menu details and allergy alerts, and you may be called upon to assist with catering functions, buffet setups, and salad bars as needed.
