About the Role

As a Server at Pizza Hut, you are the vital link between our kitchen and our guests. Your primary mission is to deliver a warm, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience by taking orders, managing the Point of Sale system, and ensuring food and beverages are delivered promptly. This role is critical to the success of the restaurant, as you are the face of the brand during the customer's visit.

Day in the Life

Your shift begins with preparing the dining room for service. You will ensure your section is immaculate, from cleaning windows and carpets to setting tables with the correct placemats, marketing materials, and condiments. When guests arrive, you are responsible for greeting them within 30 seconds, seating them comfortably, and offering a friendly welcome.

Once seated, you will guide guests through the menu, suggesting specials like breadsticks, wings, or upgraded beverages. You will take orders accurately, enter them into the SUS Point of Sale system, and deliver drinks and food with care. Throughout the meal, you will check in to ensure satisfaction, manage table turnover efficiently, and suggest desserts like cookies or Cinnastix. The role requires a balance of physical stamina and mental alertness, as you will be standing, walking, and lifting items while managing multiple tables and high-temperature environments.

Beyond the dining room, you may assist with answering phone calls, handling carryout and delivery orders, and maintaining the salad bar. At the end of your shift, you will clean your section, restock supplies, and complete specific closing tasks assigned by management to ensure the restaurant is ready for the next day.
