About the Role

The Senior Superintendent I is a pivotal leadership position designed to coordinate project site work activities and supervise on-site work teams for multiple or large, complex construction projects. This role exists to bridge the gap between project planning and execution, requiring a professional who can remain flexible, resourceful, and proactive in an ever-changing environment.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for staff at all levels, anticipating critical issues and opportunities as they arise. The day-to-day involves managing construction activities, overseeing craft labor, and fostering a collaborative teamwork environment. You will coach and mentor field personnel, from foremen to assistant superintendents, while ensuring the implementation of Mortenson's Zero Injury Safety Program. Success in this role requires a creative problem-solver who can effectively interface with engineers, architects, and customers to clarify discrepancies and drive project schedules forward.

Requirements
