One of Vaco's publicly-traded clients in the far North Dallas area is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant (Accountant II) to join their finance team. This role has been created to support an internal promotion and will serve as a critical liaison between business segments. The successful candidate will manage the accounting for 20–25 entities, with a heavy emphasis on variance analysis and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the organization.
This position is designed for a professional who thrives on collaboration and communication. You will act as the bridge between finance and operations, requiring strong interpersonal skills to navigate complex organizational dynamics. The role involves leading the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, and providing detailed commentary on income statement fluxes to management. You will also play a key role in supporting SEC reporting, audit requests, and compliance documentation, including SOX compliance and internal controls testing.
The position is based in Frisco, TX, with a hybrid work model requiring one day of onsite presence per week. The role demands strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial, operational, and patient-related information, reflecting the client's commitment to data security and integrity.
