The Accountant plays a pivotal role in supporting accurate financial reporting and ensuring strict compliance with internal controls, including SOX requirements. Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePrepare and post accurate journal entries in accordance with GAAP
- check_circlePerform monthly account reconciliations to ensure general ledger accuracy
- check_circleConduct detailed variance analysis to identify key drivers and trends
- check_circleAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or related discipline
- verifiedMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- verifiedCPA license preferred
- verifiedStrong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP
- verifiedFamiliarity with internal controls, audit processes, and SOX compliance requirements
- verifiedExcellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- verifiedFamiliarity with ERP systems such as SAP or D365
Nice to Have
Advanced Degree in related area, CPA or equivalent experience. Prior experience in a SOX-compliant organization. Industry experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, or chemicals. Experience with Blackline and Avalara. CPA license.
