Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and implement the PES Source Inspection Program including procedures and standards
- check_circleEstablish supplier quality surveillance processes to ensure compliance with project specifications
- check_circleManage source inspection activities for fabricated equipment, piping systems, and electrical components
- check_circleCoordinate inspections with suppliers, subcontractors, third-party agencies, and project stakeholders
- check_circleMonitor supplier performance and identify quality risks impacting schedule, cost, or execution
- check_circleLead supplier audits, vendor evaluations, corrective action management, and continuous improvement initiatives
- check_circleProvide technical guidance and mentorship to inspectors and project quality personnel
- check_circleDevelop KPI reporting and management metrics related to supplier quality and inspection performance
- check_circleEnsure compliance with industry standards including ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and NEC requirements
- check_circleTravel to supplier facilities and project locations to support field inspection activities
- check_circleReview purchase orders, inspection and test plans, fabrication schedules, and quality documentation
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 10+ years of experience in source inspection, supplier quality, fabrication quality, or quality management within industrial construction, power generation, oil & gas, or energy industries
- verifiedStrong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, NDE, pressure vessels, piping systems, structural steel, electrical equipment, and rotating equipment
- verifiedExperience developing and implementing supplier quality or source inspection programs
- verifiedWorking knowledge of applicable codes and standards including ASME, API, AWS, ISO, and related industry standards
- verifiedProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality reporting systems
- verifiedCertified Welding Inspector (CWI) preferred
- verifiedASQ certifications (CQE, CQM, etc.) preferred
- verifiedNDE certifications preferred
- verifiedISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
