About the Role
This role is designed to manage Indirect Purchasing duties to acquire services, products, and spare parts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, policies, and procedures. You will be the driving force behind sourcing non-production suppliers and developing regional Indirect Supply Commodity Strategies. Your day-to-day involves negotiating with suppliers, managing relationships within an Extended Enterprise framework, and ensuring the competitiveness of your commodity through aggressive cost targets that balance quality, cost, technology, and compliance.
You will work closely with internal departments to secure the best competitive pricing, resolve supplier issues, and support local buying functions such as MRO, stockrooms, and plant office equipment. By utilizing data analytics to challenge the supply base and implementing cost models, you will drive cost reductions and productivity aligned with global purchasing objectives. This position requires constant communication with plants, regional, and global indirect purchasing teams to build synergy and ensure facility compliance with all corporate safety regulations.
