Everyone has an important role to play; with the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world's most complex challenges and deliver more impact.
We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join our Water Business Construction Management team out of Los Angeles, California. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our team locally with support from one of the best-qualified municipal consulting firms in the country.
Working alongside a strong, nationally recognized technical staff, you will utilize your expertise in construction field management, QA/QC, and report documentation on various construction and/or reconstruction projects. These projects include municipal stormwater, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and other heavy construction endeavors. You will be responsible for observing and inspecting contractor-performed work to ensure compliance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. Your day-to-day involves preparing detailed daily activity and progress reports, reviewing project schedules, negotiating change orders, leading weekly progress meetings, and processing RFIs and submittals.
You will lead quality assurance approaches, monitor code compliance, and support Arcadis' safety standards through daily site inspections and coordination of special and material testing. The role demands clear and professional communication to convey required corrections to contractors and the ability to recommend sound technical solutions during construction, safety, and coordination meetings.
We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best. We believe everyone's contribution matters. It's why we are pioneering a skills-based approach, where you can harness your unique experience and expertise to carve your career path and maximize the impact we can make together.
You'll do meaningful work, and no matter what role, you'll be helping to deliver sustainable solutions for a more prosperous planet. Make your mark on your career, your colleagues, your clients, your life, and the world around you. Together, we can create a lasting legacy.
We want you to be able to bring your best self to work every day. Our ambition is to be an employer of choice and provide a great place to work for all our people.
