As a top builder, developer, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) firm, Mortenson's expertise spans diverse markets including sports, renewable energy, data centers, and healthcare. We are builders at heart, dedicated to ensuring the built environment has a lasting positive impact. Our mission is to "Redefine Possible®" by delivering high-quality projects that serve our communities.
The Senior Quality Manager serves as the strategic leader for the quality system on significant projects. This role is designed to ensure that every phase of construction, from the notice to proceed through final customer acceptance, adheres to the highest standards of excellence. You will be responsible for incorporating and leading Mortenson's quality system across all work divisions, establishing robust quality control initiatives, and managing the three-phase inspection process.
In this position, you will not only manage Non-Conformance Notices and the Request for Information process but also drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues independently or in collaboration with Project Managers and Superintendents. A key part of your day-to-day involves coaching and mentoring Quality Managers, Engineers, and project personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement through training on Kaizen events and visual management. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the career development of your team while ensuring the seamless execution of the Quality Management Plan.
