Mortenson is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to serve as a shared resource for our Phoenix, Denver, and Salt Lake City regions. This role is designed for a professional who can interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
You will lead, manage, document, monitor, and analyze the quality system on medium to large projects. Your day will involve anticipating problems, critical issues, and opportunities as they arise, then creatively problem-solving to bring together viable solutions. You will implement the Quality Management Plan from start to final acceptance, establish quality control initiatives, and manage quality events, punch lists, and Non-Conformance Notices. Additionally, you will oversee third-party design and testing agencies, manage subcontracts and suppliers, and coach and mentor Field and Project Engineers.
This position requires a willingness to travel more than 50% of the time, with a split schedule between Phoenix, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
