As a Project Scheduler at ARB, Inc., you will support upcoming and ongoing energy projects in California and nearby states. This role is designed for professionals with experience working closely with project teams to manage schedules for large, lump sum EPC construction projects.
In this position, you will be the backbone of project controls, developing and tracking fully integrated master schedules using Primavera P6. You will manage complex capital project schedules ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 activities with values exceeding $100 million. Your day-to-day involves analyzing critical paths, forecasting completion dates, and identifying areas of risk and opportunity. You will also develop and track sub-schedules, review integrated master schedules, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all schedule data produced by the team.
Communication is key to this role. You will serve as a liaison between the project team, client representatives, design consultants, contractors, and vendors. You will prepare progress reports, utilize lookaheads to communicate project impacts, and support risk analyses. Additionally, you will assist in evaluating reported progress, monitoring schedule deviations, and tracking delays. This role may also involve overseeing other schedulers and utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) and resource management techniques within P6.
