As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be the driving force behind our quality initiatives, responsible for effectively communicating quality standards both internally and externally. This role exists to ensure our rigorous manufacturing processes meet the exacting demands of the aerospace sector, maintaining configuration control and managing critical Quality Management System (QMS) processes in compliance with AS9100 and AS13100 standards.
You will work independently to manage multiple customer accounts, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and sub-tier suppliers. Your day-to-day involves collaborating with Engineering to submit waivers, concessions, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), while leading investigations into customer complaints and returns. As a subject matter expert, you will serve as the internal quality representative for both internal and external stakeholders, driving continual improvement projects and ensuring certification for customer source inspections.
