As a Quality Engineer II in our Aerospace Manufacturing division, you will be part of a company poised for substantial growth with opportunities for advancement. This role is designed for a self-directed professional who thrives in a high-paced, team-oriented environment. You will drive quality forward by serving as the internal quality representative for both internal and external customers, managing multiple accounts including OEMs and sub-tiers.
Your day-to-day involves maintaining configuration control documentation, reviewing blueprints and specifications, and collaborating with Engineering to submit waivers, concessions, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). You will play a key role in investigating customer complaints and returns, communicating corrective actions, and participating in various continual improvement projects. As a subject matter expert on customer-specific requirements, you will also support training and coaching efforts while ensuring compliance through internal and external audits.
