The Senior Quality Engineer is the driving force behind our quality initiatives, responsible for effective communication both internally and externally. In this role, you will work independently to manage multiple customer accounts, including OEMs and sub-tier suppliers, serving as a subject matter expert for customer-specific requirements and industry standards.
Your day-to-day involves maintaining configuration control documentation, reviewing blueprints and specifications, and collaborating with Engineering to submit waivers, concessions, and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). You will act as the internal quality representative for both internal and external customers, participating in the investigation and disposition of customer complaints and returns. As a key member of the Quality Department, you will manage critical QMS processes per AS9100 and AS13100 standards, lead continual improvement projects, and serve as a trained Internal Auditor for internal, external, and special process audits.
