About the Role

This position serves as the IT Procurement representative for the district, contributing to the day-to-day operations of IT procurement functions. You will be accountable for participating in procurement strategies, defining business requirements, and identifying opportunities to improve processes that drive business advantage. The role acts as a liaison between IT Services and Solutions management and business Technology and Security (BTS) staff, ensuring that internal policies, standards, and procedures are clearly communicated and followed.

In this role, you will coordinate the resolution of IT procurement hardware and software customer service issues, maintain software license tracking to ensure compliance, and vet new software titles in collaboration with internal functional areas such as IT security, Legal, and Financial Management & Planning. You will also initiate compliance activities and investigate functional problems to recommend corrective actions to management.
