About the Role
Bowhead is seeking a dedicated Windows System Administrator to join our IT team in Dahlgren, VA. This position serves as a critical pillar for our Windows 11 desktop environment and Windows Server infrastructure. The role focuses on ensuring system stability through rigorous update management, patch deployment, and strict software licensing compliance.
You will act as a primary point of contact for resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues, ranging from standard PC support to specialized engineering and scientific development tools. The Systems Administrator will work closely with the Help Desk, Department Points of Contact, and the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain operational excellence and achieve necessary system accreditations.
