Key Responsibilities
- check_circleManage isolated closed environments including DoD cloud for assigned programs
- check_circlePerform systems administration, modernization, optimization, and performance tuning
- check_circleAdminister Linux, Windows Server, VMware ESXi, and EMC storage platforms
- check_circleManage enterprise storage administration and disaster-recovery procedures
- check_circleMonitor observability platforms including Dynatrace, Nagios, and Prometheus-Grafana
- check_circleImplement DISA STIGs and utilize security tools such as Nessus and Splunk
- check_circleApply patches, manage compliance, and deploy infrastructure
- check_circleExecute automation tasks using Ansible and PowerShell for config-drift remediation
Requirements
- verifiedU.S. citizenship
- verifiedAbility to obtain a Secret Clearance
- verifiedSecurity+ Certification (or equivalent) within 90 days
- verified3+ years administering RHEL 8 and Windows Server 2022/Windows 11
- verifiedExperience with DoD Cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
- verifiedAutomation experience with Ansible and PowerShell
Nice to Have
Hands-on implementation of DISA STIGs and use of security tools (e.g., Nessus, Trellix, Ivanti, Splunk). Active Secret or Top-Secret/SCI clearance. Advanced certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, Azure AZ-800, AWS SysOps, VMware VCP (or similar). Virtualization experience: VMware vSphere/vCenter, Horizon, vSAN/VxRail. Enterprise storage administration (NetApp/EMC) and disaster-recovery procedures. Container/Kubernetes knowledge and GitOps practices (Docker, Helm, Argo CD/Flux). Monitoring/observability platforms (Dynatrace, Nagios, Prometheus-Grafana, Splunk). Possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. Security+, CASP, CISSP).
