We are seeking a dedicated Info Tech Specialist to join our team in an on-site capacity. This role is designed for a professional adept at providing exceptional end-user customer service, ensuring the timely and effective resolution of technical issues across both Mac and PC environments. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of network fundamentals.
In this position, you will be an integral part of the support ecosystem, working both autonomously and as a collaborative team member. Your day-to-day will involve configuring and supporting desktops, laptops, iPads, and various software and operating systems. You will also manage specialized technologies for classrooms and labs, handle printer and plotter setups, and oversee shared licensing software. Beyond technical configuration, the role includes tracking and documenting system issues, creating process documentation, and managing inventory and retirement processes.
This position requires flexibility, including travel to on and off-campus locations using a personal vehicle for support and equipment transport. You will also manage building access for staff and students and provide training to colleagues. As an on-call resource, you may be expected to be available outside normal business hours to address client needs, events, or critical system upgrades and updates.
